Tecnet e-Archive® is an electronic archiving service developed and licensed in accordance with Law no. 135/2007 regarding the electronic archiving of documents and according to the orders of the Ministry of Communications and Information Society no. 499/2009 and 493/2007. Tecnet e-Archive® allows both automatic archiving, with documents being retrieved directly from pre-set locations, and manual archiving. Manually archived documents are generally electronically signed documents obtained by scanning and digitally signing original documents, which are subsequently printed.
The use of the licensed MCSI Tecnet e-Archive® service is recommended in accordance with Law no. 135/2007, considering that local storage is prone to generating numerous issues regarding the authenticity, integrity, and readability of documents, which are legal obligations according to the Romanian Fiscal Code and European Union Regulations. In addition to storing, encrypting, and securing your documents, the Tecnet e-Archive® service ensures the rapid availability of documents for a long period of time, as well as their export in the event of a potential audit or litigation.
Storing files on physical media such as an external hard disk, a USB drive, or within a server or database does not constitute legal archiving. More details regarding the legal framework of archiving can be found in Law 135/2007, available in this section.

Storing files on physical media such as external hard drives, USB drives, or servers does not meet legal obligations regarding the authenticity, integrity, and readability of documents, thus being non-compliant with the legal requirements established by the Romanian Fiscal Code and European Union Regulations.
